Nick Anderson | COACH
Nick will be providing training schedules and advice here at RunBrighton.com in the Training Centre as well as leading the RunBrighton Training Seminars. With over 25 years running experience, Nick is a graduate in Science & management of health & fitness, a UKA level 4 endurance coach, a qualified nutritionist and sports therapy practitioner and enjoys coaching all levels of runner. Nick is currently an England Athletics flying coach and was formerly UK head coach for 5k, 10k and cross country. Alongside his own coaching initiative Running With Us, he is also the coaching editor at Men’s Running magazine; you may have read his articles in publications such as Men’s Health, Men’s Fitness, Harpers Bizarre, Zest and of course Runners World where he was head coach. He is also the official coach for Brighton Marathon.
Dawn Buoy | PHYSIO
Dawn qualified as a physiotherapist from Kings College London in 2000 and began her career in the NHS, spending time at Kings College Hospital London and Addenbrookes Cambridge where she also worked with the Cambridge University sports teams. Dawn then achieved a Masters degree at Birmingham University. This allowed her to gain membership to the specialist physiotherapy group the MACP. Recently she worked with the team GB physios at English Institute for Sport advising on how to use the Pilates equipment as part of the athletes rehab programmes. As well as running her own business Body Rehab Studios, she also works with Brighton Marathon each year as the official physiotherapist, at the seminars, the Exhibition and on the finish line. Nick Morgan | NUTRITIONIST
Nick is currently the Performance Nutritionist with Hull FC and Newcastle Falcons, as well as Head of Sport Science at the Soto Tennis Academy. Nick is also the official nutritionist for the Brighton Marathon advising participants who are running the Brighton Marathon and completing events with Breast Cancer Care through their partnerships with his company, A Word on Nutrition. He will be offering nutrition tips and advice in the Nutrition Centre, here on RunBrighton.com.
